DECCA BORADWAY TO RECORD ANDERSSON AND ULVAEUS’ KRISTINA LIVE AT CARNEIGE HALL
Years in the making, KRISTINA will finally make its’ New York debut, in concert, at Carnegie Hall. Decca Broadway is happy to announce that it will be recording the concert live, for later release.
Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus of the legendary pop music group ABBA and the musicals MAMMA MIA! and CHESS, have again teemed up to create a haunting musical based on the books by Vilhelm Moberg. The musical follows the tale of a Swedish family’s emigration from Sweden to the United States in the 19th Century. The concert featuring Helen Sjöholm and Russell Watson will take place at Carnegie Hall on September 23rd and 24th, in New York City.
